I highly recommend Parker Performance to any athlete that wants to meet their athletic goals and get the most out of themselves, whether it’s a personal best at the 5k distances or at the Ironman distance. For me, I have short-term goals and long-term goals that Coach Parker (Michael) understands. He created an individual plan for me with a structure that's flexible for my schedule, while helping me reach my full potential as an athlete. Coach Parker’s total athlete method combines several different aspects including: maintaining appropriate nutrition planning, structured workout blocks, fatigue monitoring, and also highly specific race day strategy. As I continue toward my long-term goal, I plan on continuing to use Parker Performance.
I'm a reformed couch potato, who started casually walking, biking, and running back around 2006. One thing led to another and before I knew it I was biking 50 mile tours and ran my first half marathon in 2009. In 2011 I attempted a half Ironman but blew myself up during training and didn't make it to the starting line. It was clear to me that I needed professional help in order to train smarter, more effectively, and more efficiently. I shopped around for a coach and have been with Michael since 2012. With Michael I've taken an hour and 15 minutes off my half marathon time (now a sub 2 hour time). I've completed three half Ironman events, each progressively faster until I took a full 35 minutes off my first race. I've done several century bike rides, including Michigan Mountain Mayhem. And last year I ran my first marathon and next year I plan to complete my first full Ironman. As I've grown, Michael's coaching has matched my needs along the way.

I have worked with Chrissy on two different occasions. I am not an athlete. The first was after healing from an injury. I found her professional, knowledgeable, and infinitely patient. She always found different and creative ways I could accomplish my goals and move beyond them. I am currently working with her on some personal training, and I am amazed at the progress in feeling stronger in a short time.
